SkirtingBoards.com is the UK’s leading online manufacturer of skirting boards. We manufacture only from the highest quality raw materials and we take extra care when we package our skirting boards, architave and dado rails to ensure the goods arrive in excellent condition.

Our most popular product is mdf skirting, and we often manufacture these in high volumes for large construction projects. Many people will ask for pine skirting boards when they are intending to paint them, in which case we will always recommend our customer uses MDF instead, as MDF is a much stronger and more durable material than pine.

No skirting boards are entirely water resistant, however mdf skirting with good priming will survive water better than thier hardwood skirting counterparts and therefore we always recommend MDF as opposed to hardwood for any application with a risk of water damage. That said, we don’t consider mdf skirting to be specifically water resistant, even though we use water resistant MDF in thier manufacture.

Architrave and skirting boards are a very similar product with architrave generally being just a shorter board than skirting, however usually they are manufactured with the same moulding profile. We can manufacture these products with any hardwoods too, but these naturally become more expensive.

SkirtingBoards.com has provided skirting for the likes of premier inn and travel lodge, as well as premium housing developments and hotels including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Waldorf and Intercontinental hotels. We’ve even shipped our skirting boards to Las Vegas.
